The following are anticipated performance advantages as compared to state of the art multifocals (progressive addition lenses)

Wider Distance Clear Field of Vision (Single vision lens when looking at far)

2) Wider Intermediate Clear Field of Vision (Intermediate lens viewing area is up to 5 times wider)

3) Wider Near Clear Field of Vision (Reading lens viewing area is wider and nearer the pupil)

4) Ability to see clearly the floor when looking down towards your feet.

5) Ability to turn off the bifocal when playing sports such as Golf, Tennis etc.

6) Less Distortion / Swim effect

7) Less head movement / tilt  (Especially when trying to look at something close above eye level.  An example would be a label on a box or can on a shelf.)

8) Easier adaptation period

9) Fewer non-adapts / more forgiving lens design

10) Less likelihood of tripping due to lens focus
