JOB SUMMARY
This position will strive to establish PixelOptics branded products
within the optical retail community. This position will develop and
manage the Southeastern sales team with the purpose of introducing and
increasing sales at a profitable level. This position will work
closely with the Southeastern Regional Sales Director, contributing
ideas and strategies to achieve sales and corporate goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Management
-
Interview, hire and assist in training Territory Account Managers.

Plan, assign and direct work as needed for Territory Account Managers.

Appraise performance; reward and discipline Territory Account Managers; address complaints; and resolve problems.

Complete necessary performance evaluation paperwork for direct reports.

Analyze and control expenditures of region to conform to budgetary requirements.

Work directly with the Southeastern Regional Sales Director and Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing to establish sales territories, quotas and goals for Territory Account Managers. -
Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume and areas of proposed expansion. -
Monitor sales, develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals. -
Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives, as needed. -
Represent company at trade shows and association meetings to promote product. -
All other reasonable tasks as assigned by the leadership team.
Distributor/Lab and ECP responsibilities

Introduce PixelOptics sales promotions, new products, new collateral, and merchandising materials.

Ensure that labs and ECPs are using the sales and marketing tools PixelOptics offers them to promote products. -
Work with Distributors and Labs on customized PixelOptics sales promotions. -
Travel with Distributors and Lab Representatives to visit key accounts having the best potential to sell high-end, high-tech products. -
Present PixelOptics products seminars and ABO seminars in conjunction with the labs. -
Monitor sales of PixelOptics products through the labs and ECPs on a monthly basis.
ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent communication skills, oral and written (English language).

Ability to proficiently use computers (Word processing, spreadsheets, Microsoft software).

Self-motivated, detail-oriented and have excellent organization skills.

Must have flexibility to travel within the entire assigned territories.

Must have the ability to speak in front of an audience, primarily to present product seminars.

Must have the ability to perform in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college
or university; or five to ten years related experience and/or
training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
