Job Title Inside Sales Representative

JOB SUMMARY:

Supports and interacts with PixelOptics’ field sales reps through follow-up telephone calls.   Initiate telephone sales calls to accounts in regions that are not covered by a field sales representative. The position is responsible for uncovering potential issues and questions and finding the proper resource to handle the question.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.      Interact with customers on the phone while promoting PixelOptics’ products and technology

2.      Perform “post call” follow-up after a sales representative performs a live sales call

3.      Troubleshoot potential issues and questions with the prospect or customer and manage the resolution of those issues

4.      Serve as a “touch point” for prospects and customers in addition to local sales representatives

5.      Initiate telephone sales calls in territories that are not covered by a field sales representative

6.      Report noteworthy successes to the organization

7.      Update account record data in our Customer Relationship Management software

ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

1.      Good telephone etiquette

2.      Good questioning skills

3.      Ability to ask for commitment

4.      Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail

5.      Ability to provide outstanding customer service throughout the organization and external customers.

6.      Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner, and listen attentively throughout the organization.

7.      Ability to work using  MS Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook;

MS MapPoint, Share Point, CRM and Great Planes experience are a plus.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

1.      Minimum of 2 years of telemarketing/telesales experience

2.      Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as required due to growth of business.

3.      Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and follow-through skills.

4.      Optical industry experience a plus, but not required

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

1.      Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, professional journals and technical procedures.

2.      Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and business processes.   

3.      Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
