JOB SUMMARY
Prime responsibility: This position will be responsible for the launch
and maintenance of sales of new PixelOptics branded products within
the optical retail community. This position will work closely with
local established or new distributers at all levels, in Sales,
Marketing and Training at both a Laboratory Distributer level and
prominent Retail Optical Outlets. The position will also work closely
with Technical field support to successfully grow the sales of
emPower! Frames and Lenses, and future PixelOptics products. This
position reports to and will work closely with the Vice President
European Territories, contributing ideas and strategies to achieve
sales and corporate goals. Extensive and prolonged travel within the
designated region is required.
POSITION LOCATION(S)
Territory location home based, close to European International Airport
within one of the designated territories.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Responsible for designated
Territory Sales Territory Objectives
2.
Responsible for building business and training plans with
Territory distributers at all levels within their business,
including Senior Management, Regional Sales Representatives, Marketing
and Training functions for the designated distributers in the
territory, and the execution of those plans which map against
PixelOptics’ forecast and budget.
3.
Build and promote relationships with Territory distributers in both
Lenses and Frames at all levels, especially Sales Representatives,
their Training and Marketing teams, and certified emPower high
importance Retail locations within the territory .
4.
On occasions travel with Certified emPower Distributer Territory Sales
Representatives, to assist with selling emPower! and future products.
Provide troubleshooting as necessary and follow-up with customers.
5.
Coordinate with local territory technical support the needs of the
Territory Distributers to enable them to process emPower successfully.
6.
Attend Regional and Territory road shows to support Territory
Distributers in promoting emPower products and its training
requirements to Retail Optical Outlets, for them to successfully
dispense empower products. Also attend International Exhibitions such
as MIDO & Silmo when required.
ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to
perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed
below are:
1.
Multilingual language skills will be needed. English will be the
primary working language.
2.
Excellent communication skills, oral and written (English language).
3.
Ability to proficiently use computers (Word processing, spreadsheets,
Microsoft software, such as Word, PowerPoint, and Xcel, as well as
Microsoft CRM).
4.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented and have excellent organization
skills.
5.
Must have flexibility to travel within the entire assigned
territories/regions and beyond if required.
6.
Must have the ability to speak in front of an audience, primarily to
present product seminars.
7.
Must have the ability to perform in a fast paced and ever-changing
environment.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; a
minimum of 5 years Ophthalmic industry
related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination
of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
1.
Multilingual language skills will be needed.

working language.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals,
professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental
regulations.
3.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure
manuals.
4.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
1.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and
statistical inference.
2.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and
proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
1.
Ability to define problems, solve practical problems, collect data,
establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
2.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in
mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and
concrete variables.
