I am the optician for an ophthalmology practice. Most of my patients are bifocal and tri focal patients that will not even consider trying a progressive lens for many reasons. Mr. William Stevens was listening to me present this new lens option to a patient. It takes an investment of time and lots of patience to explain to the patient that first it's not a progressive lens, once that is understood I go into all the benefits. Well Mr. Stevens has been in an executive bifocal for many, many years and felt he had no other choice until he heard me talking to this patient about a new lens that would take the place of a bifocal and give 4 ranges of clear vision without a line across the front surface. He ordered one pair. When he came to pick them up, he kept saying you got to be kidding over and over.
